Smith College Cogeneration/Chilled Water Plant Upgrade

Replacement of electric chillers with two single stage steam absorption chillers and campus steam cogeneration system efficiency improvements.

National Park Service (NPS) Longfellow and Olmsted Geothermal Services

Design of mechanical systems including high efficiency geothermal wells, central HVAC plant, terminal zone units, and central DDC system.  Central plant consisted of ground source heat included dual temperature, variable volume fan coil units.

Fort Lee Training Support Center

LEED certified training military facility.  Ventilation for the building provided by a dedicated outdoor air system with air-to-air energy recovery.  Heating, cooling, and dehumidification provided by a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system.

Naval Submarine Base New London UESC

Energy engineering, HVAC design, and commissioning for various energy conservation measures for a Utility Energy Service Contract.  Multiple building upgrade projects including steam decentralization of barracks buildings heating and domestic water, upgrade of chilled water plant, and compressed air systems upgrades.

Portland Public Schools Renovations, Portland, Maine

Conducted HVAC design for the renovation of three elementary schools.  Two schools to be LEED certified.  Systems include steam & hot water heating, high efficiency cooling systems, and energy recovery systems

Town of Scituate, MA – Stearns Meadow Water Treatment Plant

HVAC and plumbing systems design for new town drinking water treatment plant. Systems include gas fired hydronic system with high efficiency condensing boiler plant, energy recovery ventilation for occupied space ventilation and chemical treatment areas, VRF systems for office area and electrical spaces, laboratory HVAC and emergency plumbing safety stations, parking garage ventilation and plumbing and building automation system (BAS) with energy monitoring.

North of River Sanitary District Water Treatment Plant, Bakersfield, CA

HVAC and plumbing engineering for wastewater upgrades project. Systems include air source heat pump rooftop air handling units, hazardous exhaust systems, and potable and non potable plumbing systems.
